Hi everyone! I have this problem when trying to run a game with Dolphin: "Failed to grab 1 GB of contiguous memory! Do you have an antivirus program or any other program that injects itself into every process, consuming address space? Or simply a bad graphics driver? Dolphin will handle this better in the future by falling back to slow memory emulation. For now, sorry, but it won't work. Try the 64-bit build if you can." Then the program crashes with the following: "DolphinWx.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." or "The instruction at "0x0457001f" referenced memory at "0x00003154". The memory could not be "read". click on OK to terminate the program" Exceptioninfo.txt in Dolphin's directory has this error report: "Unhandled Exception Code: 0xC0000005 Call stack info: 0x0457001F : ?" PC configuration: Pentium Dual-Core CPU E5200, 2.51GHz,2.00GB of RAM, ASUS P5B-E motherboard, newest BIOS installed, NVIDIA GeForce 7600GT graphics card, newest drivers installed, SB Audigy 4 Sound card, WindowsXP Professional SP2, Latest DirectX 9c revision intalled, .NET Framework 2.0 installed, Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 installed. Dolphin doesn't work. The fact is it's not an antivirus' fault. I have another, less powerful computer that also has KIS2009 installed with all the same settings, and Dolphin works just fine on it. It's configuration is as follows: Intel Core 2 CPU 4300, 1.80GHz (2.25GHz, overclocked), 1GB of RAM, Gigabyte 945GCMX-S2 motherboard, On-board video, On-board sound, WindowsXP Professional SP2, Latest DirectX 9c revision intalled, .NET Framework 2.0 installed, Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 installed. Dolphin DOES work. I tried all the methods I could only find on the net, but to no avail. Does someone else have this problem? Or does it happen only to me? Please help me to solve this problem! Thanks in advance. EDIT: One more detail. When I turn off the dynamic recompilation in Dolphin's options, emulator works, but at a very slow pace (5-8 fps). It still shows me a "1GB Error", but doesn't crash afterwards. So maybe it's something the emu's development team should look into. Last edited by gamefreak87; December 15th, 2008 at 08:36..
