Could not save state

Hi guys, I'm not new around here, but I finally decided on joining the forums.

Anyways, whenever I hit shift+f1 in ssbm, it says "could not save state" on the top of the window. It will do native saves, but I can't save states. Anyone know why?

First of all. Welcome to the forums. In order to help you with your problem we need to know wich revision are you running the game with. The error you mention could be easily related to the inexistance of the Statesaves folder. Take a look on your Dolphin directory, and search for the following path: User/StateSaves If the directory doesn't exist, it's maybe 'cause you're using an older version. If that were the case i recommend you to upgrade to a newer revision (take a look at omegadox/XtremeDmax signatures)

Oh, well I was on 1349, but I will use 1420. I had the same problem with the native saves file, I had to manually make one because it would not make one automatically. Thanks for the help
