What's with that R button in Luigi's Mansion?

I mean, it never works for me. Why? Game works so great but...R button.

It's not like I have to complete the game (I did it like 5-6 times already) but why does the button suddenly doesn't work?

Ever played Luigi's Mansion? I guess not. It uses L for something and R for something different. And remapping wont work.

skawo is right. I tried as well and no different at all. Must be something wrong with it.
