What is the usual FPS for Dolphin?

I'm typically getting 30-38 and I just want to know if this is normal. If it is, then I have nothing to worry about, but if it isn't then I think I need to screw around with it some more :P

You think I should be getting 30 or so FPS in Wind Waker?

You know of any games that come close to 60 FPS?

Thanks.

I'll just wait until the geniuses working on this finally manage to synchronize the GC software with PC software :P

Then I can finally toss out my old GC

What's the usual fps rate in Dolphin? I'd say somewhere around .0000001, that being an average considering most games won't run period. If you're asking what the average fps rate is in most games.

on my rig, without overclock around 30fps, with my 2.4 overclock around 40-60.

Speed changes from game to game, not to mention the games that wont work at all and while u might get 30fps in some game full speed it wont be the same as those that have 60fps as full speed. Of course this also varies from computer to computer, you may want to provide your system specs to understand more.

Depends what game you are playing. Some games like SA2 and melee go to about 50 while other ones don't.

in my system, the common fps are 15~20, some games run at full speed or close, and other games run slow, like 5~12

AMD Athlon 64 X2 3.2Ghz Dual Core
Nvidia 8800GTS OC
4GB Corsair DDR2 444-12 RAM

Metroid Prime ran at about 30 FPS. Course, this was during the little intro movie where she's landing. The moment I gained control, the game crashes :P

Wind Waker was also 30FPS.

Running Wind Waker I get ~15fps in the field and ~30fps inside the houses. 30fps I think it's pretty cool in this game.

Your computer is not powerful enough, that's why.

Thinking and thinking... It's never enough.
Just for curiosity. What about using a Pentium 4 HT 3.0Ghz, once it's a single-core processor that works like two logical processors? The option "enable dual-core" would work the same way? I might be able to run some tests on Dolphin with that processor.

That just makes no sense. A single core processor only has 1 ALU inside. Dual Core processors have 2 ALUs. When Dual-Core mode is enabled in Dolphin, it uses multi-threading and both ALUs in the DC CPU are used for more speed.
