Super Mario Sunshine
Sorry if this has already been posted, but I have been searching and searching for a solution across multiple forums and Google. How can I get Super Mario Sunshine to run faster? I have tried Dolphin Beta 3 (64) and Dolphin 1.03 Beta and I can't get more than 5 fps if I'm lucky. The 64 version won't even run the game at all. My CPU: Windows XP 64 bit Service Pack 2 AMD Opteron Quad Core 2.0 GHz 8 GB RAM NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT |

I have also read that, but the latest one on the list is 1292. Edit: I just tested the 1292 version and it works great! Though, I do get some very strange textures at times, but I'm happy just to be able to play it (pink and yellow Mario or not). Thank you so much for your help! Strange. Same here but mine is fine. Maybe you should update it. Make sure you update to 180.48 November 19, 2008.

Since this thread is listed as the official thread for Super Mario Sunshine (since I put it there, perhaps because I didn't find a better thread) I'm posting this here: I've checked the internal analog stick configuration of this game and it's between 20 and 65 (of 128) in all directions for running (and probably for aiming too) so if you want the full physical range of your gamepad to be similar to this you can set the new Radius setting in nJoy to perhaps 60%. This will especially help when precision walking or aiming is required. It may also be more convenient at most times since if the Radius setting is at 100% you will give the game a maximum analog stick reading when you are only at half the physical range of your gamepad. |
