I'd consider it "revolution" once it has games compatibility and DirectX 9 fixes.

Didnt you know ?

That was Nintendo's Codename as Nintendo Revolution before it became known as Nintendo Wii.

IGN: IGNcube's Nintendo "Revolution" FAQ

The same for Nintendo's Codename was Nintendo Dolphin before it become known as Nintendo Game Cube.

Couldn't find any official info 'bout the project being renamed. Maybe it's some intern Dev secret-info or just a joke of yours? ^^
Anyway, it would mean to me that the Devs put more emphasis on the Wii emulation than on the (originally) GC emulation. On the one hand that's ok as the real WIi can play GC games too and the change of name would show the progress, but on the other hand this priciple of the two consoles being technicaly conected or nearly the same doesn't need to be transferable on the emu as well! ... If it is, than I'd be glad to see it be renamed!
I like that analogy to the codenames ^^

Didn't forgot to read that, but I also didn't try to read it together XD
Well that explains a lot! Do the Devs develope any more an GC emulation or are theys still JUST riding the wave of "Wii-emu-breakthrough-hype"? ^^
And: Yeah, it is meant as some critics to the Devs and I KNOW, that they can do as they please (<- meant for some smart ones, who think they can teach me, that devs are free to do 'cause it's their project and they put all the hard work in :P). Still I'd like to know and am just wondering

They should call it "Dolphin Revolution". Then the new logo could be a Dolphin weilding an AK47. (alludes to fabled time when dolphins will finaly come ashore and destroy the human race)

Am I the only one to think that naming a project as 'revolution' is a tad pretentious?

Anyway, a nice idea indeed.
