No, you can play it with your mouse as wiimote for some games that do not need nunchucks at all. What rev svn is it ? Do not swear next time.

How does it really works?
I used mouse as a wiimote, to move the cursor, and that is fine. But how to move it, like weave it like a sword? I think that pressing "S" simulates wiimote movements in random directions, but I am not sure. It would be cool someone would write a tutorial on hot to control wiimote using mouse...

Update: I added preliminary emulated nunchuck support (for use with the keyboard, not a real Wiimote) in the latest revision. They keys are numpad 4, 5, 6, 8 for up down left right and C and Z on the keyboard.

The only game it didn't work in was Mario Galaxy. And in Wii Sports Boxing it worked only after I had selected Extension connected back and forth four or five times (at the please connect the nunchuck screen). But in most other games it seemed to work right away. You enable it from the wiimote settings next to the Pad settings in the Dolphin toolbar.

The games I tried was
  • Lego Batman: The c button seemed to work, but I could not test it in the game because the game screen is black with the exception of the batsign
  • Mario Kart Wii: doesn't work
  • Pokemon Battle Revolution: it takes forever to get to the actual game, so I did not test it, does it even use the nunchuck?
  • Rayman 1: connection worked, but I could not get past the first screen where I should press A or 1, strange
  • Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles: Worked as it should, c and z and controls worked
  • Super Paper Galaxy: don't accept the connection, doesn't go away from the please connect the nunchuck screen
  • Super Paper Mario: crashes during intro
  • SSBB: Doesn't boot or doesn't start at least
  • Top Spin 3: Connection worked, but I could not test it because the game crashes when the match begin
  • Wii Sports Boxing: Connection problems (see above), but when the boxing game started I could not play it because I had to swing the things back and foward, perhaps?

Hello all,

I am using DolphinWx SVN R 1195.
I get to the title screen in ZTP but when i press A+B together(on keyboard),nothing.

I have tried replacing the wiimote plugin with an earlier one as directed but then the emulator cannot recognise the plugin and wont start any game.

What can i do?

Thanks

I don't think it will recongize anyway.. All you can do is use a real wiimote with bluetooth until they can emulate wiimote fully into the dolphin then A+B will recongize, I guess.
