Resident evil remake is running in almost full speed (or at least for me) 25 FPS and 50/50 VPS, it's very playable but I wonder why it doesnt work well in zero :|

Yeah I am running it in full speed too in my low config machine. RE Zero is slower in only first 2 boxes of the train.

does anyone have gamesaves of resident evil remake and zero with unlocked costumes and special guns ?? I need them working for the lastest revision (the old saves published before in this thread does not work ("corrupted data")), thanks EDIT: it does not matter now, Ive learned how to "load" gamefaqs saves directly with the emu savegame tool.

I have notice a strange bug . Here 2 shot to show you the problem , when you play with chris , everythings is ok : ![]() But if you choose to play with jill : ![]() And many room are like that. I use direct 3D plugin . In Open GL plugin everythink look fine. I don't understand this problem , i have try to check and uncheck many thinks but nothing change. |

There's a lot of games with this black area problem when using direct3D but i thought it was fixed a few revisions ago. What revision are you using?

Because DX9 is more faster than OpenGL, or he doesn't have a graphics card which supports OpenGL 2.1.

What to do with it? Will sometime it correct? So for a long time already with OGL a plugin (enable Copy EFB to GL texture (hack)). If in plugin OGL enable "Сopy EFB to system RAM (real)" the image is correctly displayed. But FPS in some places very low. And with DX plugin no shadows.

Well i've noticed that RE Remake and Zero have missing main character models(Jill & Chriss) and also other 3d object like doors, etc.. in latest revisions(OGL and also DX plugin)... Just reporting (rev. 4497 32bit IL & non-IL)But i don't have the previous versions so i can't point out the revision which started causing this issue ![]() Edit: I've read here(Dolphin (SVN) discussion thread) that all revisions after 4485 have this issue. well i have a question for this thread, i just downloaded the emulator, and was trying my friend`s RE zero, but i dont get desent frames. i mean i can paly it, but ingame i just got like 25-30 fps, and full speed in anything else... :S even with my corei7, 4gb ram, and 512 mb Ati card. is this normal?

There was a regression sometime between 4460 and 4525 on REmake. It runs nearly perfectly on 4460 but 4525 it's screwed up even during bootup and getting to the title menu. Identical config, DX9 plugin. 4:3, safe texture cache, no cpu->efb access, no optimize quantizers. Anybody know what's up? |

btw just so the devs know what this one user thinks, DOLPHIN KICKS ASS! Even my 3.5-year-old laptop is able (with the DX9 plugin) to run REmake in the high-20's fps, only occasional slowdown (the worst is in the room down the long stairs from the graveyard, slows down to 15-18). This is a HUGE progress since the last time I tried to use it (circa svn build 3100) when dx9 was totally busted and the last working build (2343) got about 3fps. My hats off to the dev team for a now-wonderful emu!
