Question Does Dolphin save proper Wii save files?

If I save a Wii game with dolphin, then go into the WII/title/00010000/ ect.
Is that save file a proper wii save state?

And would replacing it with an actual wii save file work?

i don't know about .bin wii save file, but i use actual wii save file with structure similar to the game directories inside WII/title/00010000/. It works, at least with pokemon battle revolution

Wii Save - Nintendo Wii Game Saves
There's alot of wii save backup there. there's two types:
1) .bin save file
2) not .bin save file (actually, it's a directory simmilar to game directories inside WII/title/00010000/.
I use the second one: just rename save file and folder (like what dolphin created), and copy it to WII/title/00010000/.
