New to Modern Emulation - Help please
OK, I'm used to older emulation (N64, SNES, the like...) which meant downloading a single file, plugging it into an emulator, and clicking "run". And it worked. Now, I have a couple GCN roms and they're coming in lots of little files. What do I do with these? Do I need a program to compress them? If so, how? Do I need them to be all grouped in a certain way? Do I only run one at a time? Help! If this question has already been answered, please post a link. Thank you! |

That doesn't sound right, they should just one image file with an extension of something like .iso or .gcm, unless they're all .rar parts, like .r00, .r01, etc... In that case just open the one that says .rar and extract the file inside somewhere, then run that file with dolphin as you do with other emulators.
