Dual Core Help

I just recieved a new computer with dual core capabilities. Although it isn't top-of-the-line or the best computer out there, it should at least be better than the piece of garbage I used to have. Unfortunately, when I tried to emulate Twilight Princess, it gave me the same speed that it did on my old computer. I even tried activating dual core mode, but the window just stays black. Can someone please help me with this? Thanks.

Motherboard: Elitegroup motherboard? (supports dual core)

It depends which part of the game you're on. TP is one of the slowest games unfortunately. In some parts I can barely break 6 fps, inside dungeons it's more like 15fps.

Dual core is kind of broken for the time being. It works on some older revisions but later ones have regressed. You have to press your savestate a few times to get it to turn on, but with latest rvns it just crashes.

what version of dolphin do you recommend? Also, there seems to be another problem. Whenever I try to use dual core, it either has trouble loading, or it only loads up to the user warning in the game. Is there any way to fix this?

I'm not sure which version has it working, certainly before R1000. But what you need to do is start the game on single core mode, then play into the game for a while and use the savestate. Then when you load it in dual core, load the savestate a few times and it used to work. Now it doesn't though.
