Doubts about OS...

Hello to everyone.
Well, my new pc will arrive soon and today received a call
from the store where you bought your asking I wanted to
Windows XP or Vista.
I chose the Vista. But then came my doubts:
Dolphin runs better in Win XP or Win Vista?

Since thanks for help and sorry about my english...

I think XP is faster on just about everything. So it shouldn't be any different with the emulator. Unless you can get Vista 64 which is supposedly very fast.

if you have a 32-bit cpu get XP, if you have a 64-bit cpu get vista64. Simple.

True, I went through a bunch of reinstalls last night, but it was probably user error due to what I was trying to do.

If this new computer has Dual-Core , Then i would recommend Vista , recently upgraded myself and the only thing wrong is some slight compatibility issues with older hardware. But if it's a single cpu pc , best stay with Xp , Also apart from lots and lots of extra ram needed for Vista 64-bit , I see nothing worth upgrading that much for it.

All the 'Game's for windows' work fine on Vista.

using Vista x64 myself and Dolphin works like a charm and hell fast.. the only problem i had was that Wii games doesn´t boot for me and after a small re-search and debug in the code i got it working again. but it wasn´t a Vista x64 bug tho.
