Savestates from different SVN builds

I have been using SVN 1007 to play Megaman X Command Mission. I download newer SVN builds but when I copy over my savestates they never load. Any help?

and they wont work
like the iso cache, save states only work for the rev they were made in
afaik tho

some of them do transfer, but sometimes it's a problem.
