Using .sav, .gci and .gcs with dolphin

Well, it seems add .gci function in dolphin save file manager hasn't completed yet. So, if some one 'd like to use .sav, .gcs, .gci with dolphin, pl try this:
Get .gci file:
- if ur file is .gcs, convert it to gci with gcs-gci converter: just put gcs file in save folder and run convert_gcs_to_gci.bat
- if ur file is .sav, convert it to gci with sav-gci converter (read info file for how to use).
- U can also convert regions of save file (.gci) with gc_us-palsave_convert

When u have .gci save file with right region, just use Memcardmerge103b: load dolphin .raw save file, load .gci file, and build new dolphin .raw save file. Finally, open dolphin save file manager, open new .raw save file and click Fix Checksum. Finish.

Hey thanks for the tools !
So the game save files have to be of the same region as the game itself to work?

I get it from here:
New Dolphin Memory Card Maker - EmuTalk.net
but this mem card merger seems not to be developed any further.
The latest version is 0.3, but version 1.03b seems to be the most compatible with dolphin save file.
I attach source code (v0.3) here (u also can get from above URL)

Btw, ur site is down, daco.

ds saves will not work, I'm not sure that anyone is working on that currently.

As far as the memcard manager in dolphin you should be able to import gcs, gci and sav files. Anyone with specific issues importing files please let me know so I can look into the issue, code should be mostly complete.

Please backup your memcard as always. If the file is corrupted by the memcard manager please upload the backup, the gsc/gci/sav file that you tried to import, and the corrupted memcard

NOTE: After some testing, if you have an older memcard created in Dolphin, you may have issues copying / deleting files if the dirEntry starts 0000 or FFFF

Why is it that every save I try to import in the memcard is corrupted?

Its hard to say without more information.

1. Which revision are you using?

2. Is the memcard a dump from an original memcard, or was it created by dolphin?

3. What type of file are you importing gci gcs sav?

Maybe upload the original memcard, save file, and corrupted memcard
