USB Game Controller & Dolphin?

Is it possible to use an USB Game Controller for the PC with Dolphin?

For example:
Buy the Saitek Dual Analog Gamepad and other Computer gaming controllers at circuitcity.com

And would it work properly with Dolphin?

I have an older version of the same controller and I can say it works great with everything I have tried, has worked flawlessly for about 2 years now.

Do some controllers work better than others?
What should I look for?

Easy question... XBOX 360 Controller is the one you're going to buy. Doesn't matter if it is wire or wireless. It fits best in the KB/360 plugin, cause it has all it's buttons presetted and everything related to it for a good gameplay. Go and get one. I'm pretty satisfied with my wireless XBOX 360 Controller.

I still have my vote for the xbox controller. Pickup an original really cheap, solder a few wires to a male usb cord, install xbcd and away you go.
