Very nice video ChaosCode. =)

I'm awaiting my new Wii-mote and Bluetooth dongle right now. Guess I'll get both of those on friday I hope.

IIRC, there was a post when wiimote emu began stating that you donīt need the sensor bar. some user placed two candles or something like that. i donīt own a wii (but i canīt wait to get one...) so i never tried that myself. but if it works, it will save you some money on technology, and you will feel like in 1650 again lighting up candles and geting burns with the wax... welcomeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee: to the world where old and new coexist to make wii emulation cheaper!!!

Yes, that does in fact work, since candles do the exact same thing as the sensor bar, which is to provide inferred light sources. I actually had to do it once while I was waiting for the replacement of my broken sensor bar to ship.

i bought this sensor bar http://www.madcatz.com/Default.asp?P...g=Nintendo_Wii
i assumed it would come with the required batteries (like the wiimote does), but it doesn't.
so i rigged up a system by putting my old-school digital alarm clock next to my monitor, and viola! I got rudimentary IR support

This sensor bar can be plugged into the wii too though, so I'm going to try and mod it to get power via usb instead :3

anything giving enough intra red light that wouldn't interfere to much with eachother

aka 2 other leds or even 2 Christmas trees if they dont have to much lights :P
