Wii - Wii Sports Party - Playable - Pics

Gotta thank the devs, they are doing a great great job. The Wii-mote officially works.

Mini Golf in the same game.

There is no way to pull back or control yet, but this is still great.

Madden NFL 09 boots to this. Looks like there needs to be another file in the Wii folder?

When you say it works, what do you mean exactly? How does it emulate the Wiimote? Does it work through the keyboard or gamepad?

Did you get the latest revision[s]? It has support for the A and B buttons.

Oh that makes sense. No I can't download except on weekends so I'm still back at R972.

Ah. Well, get a revision past 1000 if you want to try the [limited, but hey, better than nothing!] wiimote. :o

Eh, I don't have any Wii games to test. I'm not sure how comfortable I am with emulating the Wii just yet .

Because it's still in production and for sale? Tell that to No$GBA then, too. :P

It's quite a ways from being able to use a real Wiimote. That's kind of the Holy Grail.

That's one aspect of the Holy Grail if you ask me. It's more like..nearly 100% accurate emulation[it's nigh impossible to be exactly 100% I'm pretty sure..], ability to scale up to huge resolutions with AA and AF, along with hi-rez texture packs[if only to sharpen 2D huds..], and no loading times on disks. At least in my opinion.

It uses your mouse as a Wii-mote.

I thought I was forced to buy myself a Wiimote, bluetooth and a sensorbar to be able to play the games.

Amazing work is all I can say, I never thought they were going to reach R1000 in just little bit over three months. Thank you so much Dolphin-team. I Wish they had a donationsystem, would easily donate some money for their effort. =)

It's preliminary support right now. The mouse buttons are A and B. No movement yet.

I'm able to navigate the game menus with my mouse pointer (Left right and up and down) and it moves as a finger as most Wii games do. This only works in the menus for now it seems. There is no mouse control for direction in a game yet.

The mouse pointer and the Wii finger on-screen seem to be a bit off from each other - the mouse is maybe an inch away or lags behind the Wii finger pointer, but it still works.

I would personally prefer to buy a Wiimote and sensor bar - I guess it would work through your own computer's bluetooth. But it's all about the authentic experience.

But I would think that SSBB will be one of the first playable games as well because it doesn't need the Wiimote.

Ah, there IS motion? I thought there wasn't any.
