Super Mario Sunshine Problem

Hi
I've played this game on emu, and already collected 21 Shines, but there are two crash problems in this game
First: on Naki Bay location (crash from the enter location) enterance showed on the screen)
Second: on Gelato beach location (when you touch the water) if you can pass the water you may continue playing
Is there any way to fix it?

Prolly due to JIT bugs, someone can make a patch to fix that though.

You can test if it's because of JIT bugs by downloading this version of Dolphin where you can disable all JIT. If it stops crashing with all JIT off it's a JIT bug, otherwise it's something else.

By the way. Perhaps you can post a savegame or savestate so we can check it out?

Right. Because at least Noki Bay works in DirectX. So it may be a problem with the OpenGL plugin.

Oh wow you're right, it does work in Directx. I was having the same problem with gelato beach, as soon as I went into the water it crashed. I put dx plugin on (totally screwed up graphics lol), and crossed the water, savestate and went back into opengl and continued. It's a bit of a dirty fix but it works. Nice one!

How did you beat Gooper Blooper Surfing Safari? Did you just race normally? I'm finding no matter what I do, even if I race perfectly I can't get less than a minute time.

Let me know when you try it.

This bug with Gelato Beach is annoying, it crashes whenever you touch the water, so you can't refill the FLUDD.

Wrong. Near the some building there is a blue box witn jet pack on the sides, if you break it you will get the jet function and fully refill the FLUDD

Ah thanks. Also I notice it's possible to hover over the water from the beginning to the island.

I think Blooper Surfing Safari is still near impossible though.

p_025 I've read on GameFaqs you must finish the race with time less tan 45 sec, also purple blooper is fastest, but i'm thinking that timer in SMS on emu runs to fast
