Very wierd resolution problem

Hi guys,

I was just trying around the ogl full screen and directx full screen. The result showed that the ogl full screen has problems. It doesn't fit properly.

Anyhow my monitor supports 1280 x 1024 digital and when I tried full screen of ogl, then i clicked stop to stop the emulation, and when I check my display properties, my resolution can go up to 2048 x 1536. And just to test it, I tried that resolution, and of course it didn't give me that resolution and it looks the same and I couldn't see my Taskbar. Its not like I care about that resolution but I just want to go back to normal.

I can still have my 1280 x 1024 resolution just the way it was before but it just bothers me that the display properties shows that i can go up to 2048 x 1536.

Anyone know how to fix this?

It shows the correct resolutions for me, the highest resolution in list is the same highest value shown in the display properties.

But all this time, my display properties showed me as 1280 x 1024 as the highest resolution possible. I'm talking general here.

Since today that I have tried the full screen option, my display properties as it seems have added resolution up to 2048 x 1536 which isn't even displayed properly and is not even possible to display on my monitor because the highest resolution possible is 1280 x 1024.

Im guessing your using DVI?
Hmm, Windows should have accurate info about your monitor. I don't know how the code gets the list of resolutions, this will have to sent to a dev.

but the "selectable" resolution modes are taken from the monitor, or the video card capabilities?

From the card. My monitor is maximum 1440x900.

Btw: I noticed that problem, but I didn't bring it into relation with dolphin. MJaybe with a windows update or something. Why should dolphin make other resolutions to be shown?
