In Mario Kart, there isnīt necessarily a blue thing over the screen, itīs just a lot darker. At least thatīs what it looks like for me. I just turn up the brightness, helps a lot. I havenīt tried DKJB yet, so i have no idea how to help you there.

Try switching to KB pad in the plugins options window. Then try to control the game.

I am insulted. I also have a Gamecube AND a Wii. I still have lots of fun with the emulator in spite of that. I like to see what people are able to do emulator wise. They are basically recreating the software that is in a Gamecube and a Wii, and i find that impressive.

funny that all of us grown ups who CAN afford a Gamecube still choose to waste our time with the emulators.

I guess we forgot to tell him he needs to actually own a GC to legally get help here, otherwise he has no business trying games if he does not own the games or the console.

I thought up some good reasons on the spot

1. Because itīs fun.
2. Because itīs fascinating to see what regular people like you and me can accomplish.
3. Higher resolution.
4. Filters.

I tried Donkey Kong today, and I'm stuck at the same location, no workaround yet?

Sorry this is a bit unrelated to the original topic, but others were discussing the purpose of emulators and I wanted to weigh in.

First of all, I'm really excited about this emulator. I own two gamecubes (one since near the launch) and both are broken. I have about 25 gamecube games and have probably purchased near 50, but I was suckered into trading in a lot of them at gamestop.

I decided to skip out on this generation of consoles. Most PS3/Windows games I'm interested in are making their way to PCs anyway, and I just don't see the wii as worth $250 when it's only about twice as powerful as the gamecube and developers seem to think and program like it's half as powerful.

I'm following this emulator closely, and when I upgrade my PC I'm buying a drive to rip my GCN games to my computer and will play them with dolphin. If Wii emulation improves I'd also start purchasing Wii games to rip (and then have an instant library if I ever do decide to purchase a wii) and play. I'm a fan of supporting game developers, and a fan of what Nintendo is doing innovating the gaming market, I just don't think the Wii is worth my money, especially if I can play its games on my computer.
