DolphinWX has encountered an error and needs to close

I'm using "Dolphin_win32_svn_r49"

I have 32 bit windows xp

Video: Dolphin OGL 0.1

DSP: Dolphin DSP-HLE Plugin

Pad: Pad DirectX9

whenever I boot my game it says that ;_;

Specs (I know my computer isn't very good >_> but it runs dreamcast games fine)

Intel(R)
Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.80 GHz
2.79GHz, 512MB of RAM

Graphics card: Intel(R) 82865G Graphics Controller

if ram is the problem my brother is bringing us a ram stick soon D;

I used to be able to run the old dolphins that had sucky 4 fps fine (with this same gcm)

please help ;_;

I think GC's hardware is a lot more complicated than DC's hardward. Anyways, I think you do need 1GB of RAM to run Dolphin, I am not sure.

512MB of ram is fine, but he does need his cpu to use SSE2 and his video (that he didn't mention) needs to run PS 2.0 and dx9.

You're graphics card is the problem, it most likely does not support PS 2.0 = Pixel shader 2.0.

Graphics card is the problem, those series of Intel chipsets lack any kind of Pixel/Vertex shading.

Dolphin needs Pixel/Vertex shading 2.0 or greater, you're chipset supports 0.0.

Looks like the only way you'll be able to use Dolphin is to buy a new/decent graphics card that supports Pixel Shading 2.0 or greater.

Cards that support these features:

Geforce FX 5200 or ATI Radeon 9500 or better.

Also even if you do manage to get a proper graphics card, you're CPU is going to hold you back, games will most likely be extremely slow and crawl at a snails pace.

You really need a full system upgrade or a new PC if you want to enjoy games at a decent speed, or you can stick with the much cheaper alternative and play on a Gamecube.

Don't agree! I got my new PC from a friend for free :P All you need are some friends, who regullary upgrade their systems and "throw away" parts you can use . But a Gamecube indeed does "emulate" the Gamecube more accurate - like it was made for! XD
In the end, everyone is right: you need (at least) a new graphic card!

...a regular Gamecube does not emulate at all and the games for it work 100% on it, and perfect GC graphics with a real GC controller. :P
The GC seems like better hardware to run the game. I got the emulator so I could replay my games on PC and also see if my computer can handle it.

Guys i have a new error in dolphinwx in luigi's manson when i press the "L" button it starts to vaccum but its "R" to vaccum and "R" is not woking i find it when i got a fire elemental medal i think the button is confused i tried it with direct pad plugin also same error exist


what to do now can any one help me




I also sucked the elemental ghosts also it shows the meter its full

one dev has reported this, we do not know yet why this happens.

Yes it is definatly your graphics card because thats happens to me when i try to run dophin on my laptop that has an intel card. The offiial build worked but was very slow.
