i HAVE A P5E ASUS Mb Q6600 OVER CLOCKED 2 3GHZ 8 GB OF RAM AND 2 3870 ATI CARDS IN CROSSFIRE MODE AND I CANT GET MARIO CART OR ZELDA TO RUN OVER 10 FRAMES PER SECOND WHAT AM I DOING WRONG

Use the DX9 video plugin and set the Dolphin ini to dual core = true.

See if that helps any.

lol or ok man i have a asus p5e MB with a q6600 over clocked 2 3ghz 8gb of ram 2 hd 3870 video cards in crossfire mode and i cant get mariocart or zelda to run over 10 frames per second i need help man link a seen

oh i left out i am using vista ultimate does that make a diffrence

where is the dolpnin ini file i am not seein any file by that name i am aoly seeing a dolphin .exe

The dolphin.ini file is in the folder where the .exe file is and the rest of the emulator files. Open the file and change the text from false to true and save it. This may or may not help but with your video card using the DX9 plugin should definitely help if you had the OGL plugin loaded to start with.

It is kind of normal for the emulator to run at 10 FPS, well iit should be a little higher, but yeah use the Direc3D9 plugin, should get some more FPS. The dolphin.ini is created after running Dolphin. Note that dual core mode cause Zelda: TP to break (except in x64 version I think), unless you are talking about Z: WW.

it's strange, when i play with a single core in my system, i have nice fps in some games, obviously, with dual core on, it boost up fps, try to update your graphic drivers, and update DX9 to august2008, and kill any program that eat your CPU

I know I have a dual-core processor, so I know it can run dual-core mode, but should I really do? In the button used to activate it it says "(unstable!)"...

As far as I know dual-core mode don´t work correctly for now, so maybe you shouldn´t use it.

i got the games runnin at over 30 frames per second but i am not geting any sound in mario cart and zelda and in mario cart when the get in 2 the actual race the screen looks as if u put a tint over my monitor and it freezes after the first race is finished
