how many more threads about this are going to be opened? Also, it woudn´t hurt you to add a PLEASE to your requests... but as jasong said, it doesn´t work currently. we will just have to wait until it gets fixed. we all want that

Personally i don't thing sound is that much of an issue when frame rate is so low... just wait a bit, i say gc emulation is just starting give it a few months/years and it will be perfect! These guys are doing a wonderful job as it is!!

OH BOY, you still don't get it! The emu is still in DEVELOPEMENT. So read carefully before making any "request". As everyone said the game doesn't work as it should and there IS NO other plugin out there right now to sove the graphics problem. Do you really expect the emu to work 100% perfect just because they release it? SO, next time do us ALL a favour and try to inform yourself. When you are new to an EMU, then you should EVEN MORE spend time on searching for infos. And most of all: be patient and wait for further achievements. Got it now? CU PS: Don't mean to play the "bad guy", but someone needs to state it!

That's because you have an ATI card and their Opengl extensions are stuffed. There isn't much you can do about that until they fix their drivers. The person on Youtube would have been running an Nvidia card. Sorry, but these questions have been answered many times over, it isn't necessary to start a new thread. Just below you there's a massive thread about Twilight Princess. |

Yeah, right, Sorry about new thread. It means that I cannot emulate Zelda:TP beacause I have ATI card? That's damn BAD!

On my Ati system I basically have the same problem. Actually when do run a game with OGL, the program just crashes for me. On my NVIDIA/Intel laptop, it works ok. I get about 25FPS in start screen and 12 FPS in game play but it can slow down to 3 FPS in some areas of the game. Also about audio, the dev team can fully emulate the audio chip but they said if they coded it, it will slow down the game speed prolly to 2FPS. The DSP chip itself might need 1-2Ghz CPU speed to emulated it at a working speed.

The devs mentioned this in IRC, they might be able to run it on another core. I know that emulating a chip might require more processing speed as to the speed of the real chip, the 80Mhz DSP chip itself is built to be optimized at processing the audio data which might be more work to a different kind of chip. This happens with the main CPU also, the "gekko" PowerPC Processor in the gamecube is 486Mhz fast, but it can execute the PPC code faster than a x86-x64 Processor, where the PPC code has to recompiled or interpreted before the x86-x64 can execute it because both CPUs have different architectures. The same thing has to be done to the DSP, because it is a whole different chip architecture than the x86-x64 architecture (I'd expect).
