some newbie question ^^'

Hi everybody ^^
I'm using this dolplhin version:
Dolphinx64SVNRevision450, I've 2 question about this wonderful emulator:


1)
when I start the emulator I get these error messages:








what can I do to fix this problem?



2)
In GFX plugin panle I've only this choice:



Is this the best? or there are any other better?

The solution to this was mentioned several times before and should be in recent threads, update your DirectX to the latest runtimes.

Yes most likely it is.

Just to ensure your PC can even run dolphin, please list your system specifications.

the fact he's on vista makes me wonder if dolphin likes DX10 lol
anyway update 10 try again, install DX9 if problems keep coming
and no DX9 wont interfere with DX10 from vista

ok I've downloaded from microsoft site the latest dx9 release (august 2008) and now I no longer got that error message ^^



but I've another problem:
to play full screen Must I check the 'render to main window' option?

No u don't have to. Just launch the game like u always do and push Alt+Enter and it goes to full screen.

ah ok thx, because when I launch the game with full screen option checked I get only the screen qwith strange colours and poor resolution

Adjust the resolution manually in it's options.
