Found a "playable" Wii game
After testing all the wii games I know of that have gamecube controller support, I got ingame and was able to control the character in "Guilty Gear XX: Accent Core". I was only able to move the character around and jump and so on. Pressing the buttons didn't do anything ingame. Dual core needs to be off, or the game runs very, very slow. These are the games that I have tested: Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn Guilty Gear XX: Accent Core Mario Kart Wii Metal Slug Anthology Mortal Kombat: Armadeddon Nights: Journey of Dreams Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity Super Smash Bros. Brawl The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy I did the testing in SVN 445. If you know of any other games that have gamecube controller support, please post the name of the game here. |

You mean the Wii game is running slow with Dual core option ON(the thing that speeds up games)? Why is that? ![]() And another question - how long do you wait until something shows up on your screen when you start the game? |

I've tested a good amount of Wii games, too. After 10 seconds if nothing comes on-screen, the game will probably not work. It also helps to try both video plugins as some work better with either. Most of the time if the game is going to do anything you will see the Wii-mote screen where it explains not to bump into others while playing or to put on your wrist strap. The games I've tried get pasted a few Wii-mote screens and maybe a few logos, but some do get to the title screen and the either lose the Wii-mote signal or you just can't press start. I've also noticed the Wii games used to spit out many errors before and now only show one error before the game boots. |

No, do not! Post it in the SVN Shots forum, should be enough. Guys, keep the forums clean for gods sake and don't mix them!

I'm gonna test a few Wii games on my library just for the heck of it. Expect an update soon. EDIT: No More Heroes (Black screen) Rayman Raving Rabbids (Black screen) Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles (I get past the Nintendo screens [for Wiimote and Zapper], first 3 screens from the game, then it hangs) SVN 445 / OGL / DSP-HLE

I tried today Naruto Shippuuden Gekitou Ninja Taisen EX2 with both video plugins and with ON/OFF on the Dual Core but nothing happens. Just black screen and it doesn't show FPS or anything on the bar below.
