Wii Support (?)

Trying to test it as a Wii emulator, I used Super Mario Galaxy.
It did not work. May not have even recognized it as a valid ISO.
So how far along is the Wii support for the emulator?

Barley, it can only play movies so far, but you also need a masterkey to be able to read the ISO.

buy a wii,,,gamecube emulation is understandable as its a dead format been that way for almost 3 years now..

i think anyone who thinks they can get a current gen emulator for free is mental

dont mean to be so rude an hateful but i think Wii support should be leftout or disabled until atleast 2 more years..may sound silly but i think its the right thing to do..

I thought it might be possible for exactly that reason. The Wii, after all, is not a next-gen console. It was also marked as a Wii emulator.. so I thought I'd give it a go.

That means that the only way to play next-gen (and Xbox) games for free, is to mod the console. It's not so bad now adays, though. Full-HD and built-in AA mean you barely need a PC emulator. Not to mention that nothing can run anything but the Wii.. which is why I was hopeful. I guess I'll buy all the consoles in several years.

Thank you all.

Wii only uses a single PPC, which is possible to emulate at a slowish speed, dev team needs to keep improve the core and improve on how to convert PPC to x86-x64 faster. (some clever dynarec). Also CPU features like SSE, SSE2, SSE3, SSSE3 help out. AMD already invented SSE5. Also dual core can help a bit. If the core becomes more stable with dual core. The dev could support Quad core and maybe add support for SSE4.1 and 4.2 and AMD's features (SSE4,SSE5,3D Now!, Extended MMX, etc).

PS3 has 8 CPUs and XBOX360 has 3 CPUs. If those games uses all the CPUs, the emulator maybe run at .01 FPS. Also those system has a lot of RAM, high end video cards, I think.

Super Mario Galaxy only shows a few Wii-mote screens and then the screen turns black. The emulator is still running and the fps are still going but nothing is being drawn on-screen.
