Is computer SSBM capable?

Hi. I bought this computer, and Im gonna loaded with a clean install of vista x64 or xp x64. Buy the Toshiba Fusion Satellite P305-S8825 17.1" Widescreen Laptop and other Laptop computers at circuitcity.com

Will it run ssbm full speed? It has a dedicated graphics card capable of dx10.1 and shader model 4.1

CPU runs at 1.83 ghz dual core.

If you enable dual core mode it may run at 100FPS like it did for me ;-)

Honestly, I don't know if your computer will play it well.

I just know that mine plays it too fast and frame limiter doesn't slow it down. So it makes it unplayable^^

Thats laptop... It can run with 30-50 fps. I dont think it will run better than that with that CPU :S... I know this because i got laptop too... The specs are in my sig. In the future it can run if the emulator gets little bit faster

PS: I can be wrong too :S

Oh, wait, what's that shader thing? Can it have something to do with my OGL problem? How do we know what model we have installed in our machine?

Uh....

Its pretty complicated to explain what pixel and vertex shaders are, so I'll try to keep things simple.

Pixel and vertex shaders are special computer programs that run directly on your video card's chips. What they do is process the images displayed (like you can have shaders for motion blur, or to turn the screen black and white).

"Shader Model", is a term used to describe what level shader support a video card has. Shaders cannot be installed on a computer. Shaders are something your video card can only support, so the only way to have decent shader support, is to upgrade your video card.

FYI, and as a example, your video card supports Shader Model 3.0, which is quite good considering your video card. Higher "Shader Models" supported, allow for the programmer to have less restrictions when coding shaders for your video card.

Ok, so I guess it isn't that that's causing such problems with OGL on my computer.

.... hmmm.. i got intel core 2 duo t5550 with 1.83 ghz dual core, might be the same cpu with 3 gb ddr3 ram.
i have to say that it's not running that well, sbbm runs with around 20 fps.
(dual core enabled, latest dolphin svn)

why do all the people say it is possible to get around 100 fps
