Dreaded VideoDX9.dll - unknown error!! help pls

I'm having the dreaded 'Failed to load plugin Plugins\Plugins_VideoDX9.dll - unknown error'. I have updated my directx with the aug2008 distributable still getting the same error. I'm running Q6600, 8800GTX, 2gig memory, Xi-Fi.

use OPGL plugging, but yeah message can be a *****, ANd I dont get why tyou get it. What rev version are you using.

Dolphin_win32_svn_r144, where can i fing this OPGL plugging?

Have you updated your video card drivers in a while, there might be more to it than just updating DirectX.

I'm much worse off with a Geforce 6150LE and I can run Dolphin without any issues.

Also what Dolphin version are you using? You might want to give the newest revisions a try if you haven't already.

Just tried Nightly - R126 x86 - installer, same error message

Yep using latest Nvidia 175.19 drivers

teh newst rev is 285 or sotmhing, the OGPL plugin is in you're plug-in settings.

Yeah it is, but I am having issues with compiling it. I keep getting errors in both revision 284 and 285.

So no compiles from me until this is straightened out.

By the way try rolling your driver back to 175.16, 175.19 is very buggy.

installing the latest VC redists and Dx Redists will fix most linking related problems.
