Short version in english :
Dolphin CANNOT run any commercial Wii game for the moment, it's primary a GC emulator.

Short version in french with some additions :
Dolphin ne PEUT PAS faire fonctionner de jeux commerciaux Wii pour le moment. C 'est un émulateur GameCube en premier lieu.

Le mieux que tu obtiendra c'est la video d'intro d'un jeu Wii, rien de plus.

Et le fichier masterkey.bin est un fichier INDISPENSABLE pour faire fonctionner un jeu Wii et le seul moyen LEGAL de l'obtenir c'est de l'extraire de ta propre Wii.

Why are you guys who are so uninformed talking to others on this forum when you have no idea what you're talking about?

Dolphin DOES run Wii games, it just does not have any controller support so you cannot play them yet. Why would you guys tell the guy to not bother and come back in a year? You would not have told anyone this when Dolphin did not get in-game with Gamecube games, so why say this now for Wii games. They work, they are good to look at, but just not play yet. This is how Dolphin was for many years with GC games. Don't post just to post, know what you're talking about.

Viewing a titre screen (in rare case, most of time you will only see wiimote warning) DO NOT make a game running.

Show me Dolphin with IN-GAME Wii emulation, sound and controller and will say YES, Dolphin run Wii games.

So stop day dreaming and face the truth, at his current state, dolphin DO NOT run Wii games but run many GAMECUBE games good so it's a GAMECUBE emulator only for the moment.

You wanna play Wii games , BYU a Wii then !!

Nothing to add, useless thread.

People are so stubborn. If I load a Wii game, it loads to the title screen. How is that not running a Wii game? No one said anything about being playable. you said "Dolphin CANNOT run any commercial Wii game for the moment". That is not true, it can run the games.

Some people are not looking to play all these games and in this case, Wii games are not playable, but that does not mean they cannot run and that people do not want to see Wii emulation beginning to run, just as people were interested in GC games when they were not playable.

Just drop it, man, you're wrong.

Are you really telling me to shut the **** up? Maybe instead of telling others to come back in a year, you should consider this advise. Maybe you would have grown up during that time and would know what you're talking about and posting about next time. Not to mention spelling words correctly and using proper grammer. And by the way, in your avatar, it's "heard" not "herd", A herd is a group of large animals. Sherlock.

It's not up to you to decide what is worth it to other users. Wii games run, go with the facts, not your opinions.

What the heck is wrong with you people?
It's one thing to inform people Dolphin has a very preliminary support for Wii games which is described by reaching some title screens and another to flame people who want to try it just for the heck of it.
All kinds of emulation start this way and there are always a few people who want to check it out even in those early stages. You are welcome to inform them that Dolphin is nowhere near playing any Wii game but telling them to **** off or stop checking it out for that reason will not be tolerated

Thank you captain obvious. Now kindly get off the internet for another year. While you are doing that read up on some popular internet phrase (I.e I herd u leik mudkipz).

Back to topic

Iirc, a wiimote plugin would make theoretically playable games, playable.
