I know everything is in very preliminary stages, and that there is a lot of work to do, but for God's sake buddh4sack......if you manage to get F-ZeroGX running smoothly in Dolphin someday, you are going to make me the happiest man on EARTH! Mark my words, I WILL be buying you a bottle of champaigne if you succeed in getting this done, brother!

I talk to a lot of people about videogames. Lots of whom are hardcore Nintendo fans. Whenever I tell them that Gamecube emulation is being worked on for the PC, the FIRST thing they wanna know is whether F-ZeroGX is emulated. I always have to break the bad news to them and inform them that it's not working.

buddh4sack, you have my FULL support on this endeavor! It appears you like the game as much as I do, and to me, that is a big plus! Please continue your efforts and keep us posted my friend. This is going to be a HUGE breakthrough if you pull it off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Again, thank you very much buddh4sack. You have my gratitude.

Wow, that is a lot to live up to! Especially after hearing from more experienced developers that a TLB implementation will slow the game down to unplayable speeds. My next task is to dedicate a chunk of time to learning about the TLB, and looking at how it would fit into Dolphin.

I am indeed a huge fan of F-Zero GX, and would like very much to see it playable, but please don't expect too much; I've got a long way to go to, much learning to do, and if I take the word of the other devs on this thread, it may be impossible to get a decent framerate.

I'm not giving up yet, though.

Theres got to be another way to emulate or bypass TLB completely that won't have a drastic slowdown effect on Dolphin.

That or write your own optimized TLB emulation implementation that would cause minimal to no slowdown.
