Mario Party4 Req? (total noob)
Hi, I'd like to play to mario party, I have a WS xp professional SP2 (x32 I thinks because it doesnt support x64) Mobile Intel(R) 945GM Express Chipset Family (128 MB) CPU Type: Mobile DualCore Intel Pentium (1666 Mhz) CPUID CPU Name: Genuine Intel(R) CPU T2300 @ 1.66GHz I tried MP 4 in the x32 Dolphin Final 1.03 Beta version, it worked with no bugs, but veeeery slowly, 10ftp max. Is it required to have x64 to play ? or there's something wrong with my configuration? need plugins ? I'm very sorry, I had to create a new thread, because I didnt understand nothing from previous topics(what a noob !) Thanks for your help. PS:is it because the rom size is only 570mb ? Sorry to say, but your gpu sucks ass.... I tried MP4 today with svn40 and, like all othe mp games I've tried, the problem is that the OGL plugin works like a cahrm in the intro and menus, but as soon as you reach the map you just get a white screen. The DX9 plugin has various grafical bugs and is much slower (at least for me, c2quad q6600 geforce 8800gts, I've heard the dx9 plugin works better on ati tho...) but at least you can play.... or at least the maps work, I didn't try any mini games because it was too slow. If I were you, I'd just wait for a new version of the OGL plugin.... |

Ok, I guess you're right(even though I dont know what the hell are you talking about!?[Gpu, gma, x3100 ??]) I should forget about GC emu for now, maybe when I'll have a more powerful computer, and a more advanced Dolphin, I ll give it a shot. OK, but my new question is, did anybody try Mario party 4 ? does it work in the 64 bit version at a playable speed ? I checked the compatibility list, but it had never been updated since 2005! Thanks. PS:sorry for my english, but at least it is understandable

I'm playing mario party 4 right now and it is playable, but I only tried one map. And the map is the koopas map. When you hut the "?" and to try to ride the dolphin the game still looks like its running, not frozen, but your player isn't jumping on the dolphin so it just sits there...

Thanks for replying Can you tell me how many fps you can get ? is it around 20 ? And does the mini games work at a regular speed? If it's yes, then I guess in the future, after they develop the emulator enough, it will be completely playable. |

On the map I get 30-40. Minigames seem the same. I didnt play alot, it was late and I just tried for like ten mins then it just stood there when daisy stepped on that that question mark.

I just tested every map and every single time you step on a question mark the game just hangs, nothing happens.
