I don't know what's the problem, but everything is compiling successfully and I get 4 errors. I checked log and... THERE ARE NO ERRORS! And Dolphin runs ok. Is it Dolphin's bug or my Visual Studio is going crazy?

Linker Error unresolved Symbol

I checked out the read only version of dolphin-emu
and got some linker errors. (undefined references)

"LabelMap.cpp", seems to be missing in Source/Core/DSPCore/Src/SConscript.

Have you tried "unlinking" DSP Tool?

i typed: scons
got linker error,
added "LabelMap.cpp" to the Sconscript
typed scons again and got no more linker errors.
i assume that the sconscript isn't up to date in the repository. ( i used the source hosted at google )

yep, it isn't, it should be fixed soon, that's because of the recent DSP changes...

Hey, gang. I just made my first compile(Huzzah), and everything seemed to go smoothly. The plugins load, everything seems to be there. However, when i start a game, the game doesn´t actually start, it just stays there. Does anyone have an idea of what the problem is? There were no errors in the compiling process, however, 2 files were skipped. Just a guess, but that might be the problem. I´ll look through the log to find out precisely what was skipped, meanwhile, i hope you guys can shed some light on this.

Edit: Found it already. This is just a rough copy/paste.

Just check them for compilation next time. C++ set Dolphin's projects to compile by default and he usually misses some of them. Set them to compile manually.

Silly me, turns out there were a few mistakes here and there, besides what you mentioned there. It´s all fixed now, and it works like it should. Thanks dude

And just for the Log, usually you wouldnt want to compile the DSPSpy (unless you're a developer, or otherwise keen on stuffing things into a DSP assembler/diassembler) nor the SimpleEvent Pad Plugin (which is not really in development IIRC).

Also, you should choose a Release Configuration if you think your current compiles are slow, those include some optimizations, have certain logging things removed (that may impact performance) and other stuff.
Most Builds you can download here (or from the SVN Builds Topic) are Release compiles.

I'd just like to ask what are the optimal settings in VS2008 and optimal project settings to use when compiling builds?

I wanted to optimize my compiles to be a little faster with somewhat better performance. I notice that I get weird unexplained sluggishness, and unexplained slowdowns that some others don't seem to get.

Also how do I include/exclude building of some projects?

When you choose between projects (Win32 or x64), choose sign under x64 (don't remember which :P)

Long time no see! It's been a while since I compiled any SVN. What's with the last 100 ones, The GPU plugin is always missing when I compile for Linux? It did compile some weeks ago. Did I miss some huge change in the SVNs or do I just have to wait till there is another "Linux compile fix"?
Had no special "errors" as far as I could see. Just the usual, huge bunch of warnings ('unused variable' and so on)...

Well you ar right, it says "no" at Gl and glu... but it's still funny. All dependencies are installed and I didn't change that much on my system these days. That's what is confising me. But I'll find out. Thanks for the hint, was no0t that thoughtful last night!

Is there a 64bit IL version of Dolphin available or is it broken?
