set the dsp plugin to null, i had that problem too with the other one

hmmm, could be cause im using an xbox 360 pad? not sure are u using x64 vista or xp? cuz if ur using xp it might be an xp x64 only problem

I am too, the input plugin for the 64-bit version isn't even showing up in the dropdown list to select plugins.

Due to the not being able to select the input plugin, I get an error when I attempt to start a game with the 64-bit version.

are there 5 plugins in your plugin directory? could be you're somehow missing one

hmm i just tried it with xp64 and it seems to work with the openGL plugin, however it doesnt support the directx9 plugin (wont even show up in input plugin dropdown) ,which plugin is it that you're having a problem with?

The input/pad plugin, won't show up at all in the dropdown box it's as if it isn't even being recognized.

I already have the OpenGL plugin selected for graphics and have tried the DSP_Null and the other DSP plugin.

hmmm, you using the latest microsoft drivers (1.1)? and have you tried it without the pad turned on?

I had similar problems, I just deleted all the files, and started from scratch, not sure how it happened, but when I unzipped, and overwrote all files in the sub-folder, I started getting errors loading plugins. not sure why, but when I made a new folder, and ran it for the first time from a fresh unzip, everything seems to work okay.

ya i never had an older version of dolphin, so that may be the problem for you

Are you referring to the latest Xbox360 controller drivers or Xinput drivers?

The input plugin shows and works fine under the x86 version, just not the 64-bit version.

I haven't tried with the controller disconnected yet.

the official controller drivers over @ the microsoft hardware web site, but you should try unzipping dolphin into a new folder first and see if that fixes the problem (unless you already did that )

edit to at least be remotely on topic:
Animal Crossing is yet to get beyond the nintendo logo, tried it with and without dual core mode / dynarec enabled

as somebody stated, if you look at the bottom of picture two, it seems like the regular game is still playing however there seems to be some sort of layer of doom covering the majority of the screen

the newest version doesn't like some older plugins, like njoy.
and no, it would only make sense with other programs. not with emulators :P
