I am using the default settings with DX9 support, the standart sound plug-in and the pad plug-in. Yes the sound is null, however the game runs fast. What`s your CPU and video card? Mine is Wolfdale E8400@3.6 GHz with ATI HD3450 256MB/64bit/, mine CPU is powerful but mine video card is weak. I don`t know if the emu is GPU or CPU dependant...

it's cpu depandant, but i think when using the dx9 plugin you'll need a descent graphic card.
My cpu is e4400@3ghz and my gpu is a 8800gt. Playing Zelda wind waker without sound is sad :'(.

Smash Bros. and Tales of Symphonia

Here are 2 shots from these 2 games. I`ll test Super Smash Bros. Brawl later and report if it works. Great job to the coders. I`ve never seen such fast improvement of an emulator.

Wave Race Blue Storm - SVN R126 - X86

The game hangs after the title screen and goes to a black screen.

Cheers Dolphin Team.
Well I know this maybe an old post, but I have finally solved the problem with Bloody Roar: Primal Fury, though most of the credit goes to the members of Emutalk who mentioned how to do fix it. It's very simple, just download and use any tool that can open and edit your Game Cube games(both .iso and .gcm). I reccommend using GC-Tool, which I used, and and open your Bloody Roar game. Look for the directory called "movies" and rename it to something else, e.g. "VideoBR", or something. But you can rename it to any name you want, then save the changes if necessary and Voila! Now it's just to open dolphin and run the game. Btw, it seems ingame to perfect so far, but I just started playing it
Here are some screenshots to show you how the game is like:

Yep, that's how it is and I hope this helps a lot of persons, especially Daco, who I hope can still get his friend's rip.
PS: Tell me if it works!
Edit: It seems as though you cannot play arcade mode at all, because you only get a black screen, bummer.

When Gcube got released by monk it say it was imposible to run Super mario sunshine. But by using Gc-tool i was able to get past the movie files and get ingame. The method you just presented ringed some bells so i'm sharing this... hoping it helps

This is the method i used that time. and it's a lot cleaner than the one you just posted because i think the black screens you get are related to the emu not being able to read those movie files.

-Find the smallest movie file on the GCM using Gc-TOOL (makes sure it plays)
**If the above it's not possible then find what is the movie file type... and try to find another game wich works that uses the same filetype

-Once you found that file yo proceed to extract the file using GC-TOOL (save it anywhere
-Then you just REPLACE all the problematic video files with your "smaller working file"
-Make sure the names of the files matches

There you go... When you get to the part of the game, where it crashs (not showing the video)...you should see your "modified" file playbacking instead allowing you to skip the crash... (This method worked on early versions for Super Mario sunshine... So it should work just fine this time too)

**Remember to backup your rom first 'cause you're actually changing the content inside of it**

Yes, very interesting indeed! It was also mentioned that Dolphin could not read the file type they use, so I will try it myself to see if it can work. Btw, the file extension for the movie files is .h4m. Have you seen any other game with these movie files and can this work with Dolphin as well(since you mentioned Gcube only)?

Dunno if it plays the movie files, but i don't remember anybody complaining about naruto games... so it should work

Do you think that with the dolphin been open source now a sound plugin is going to emerge? Because it seems that no one cares about the sound.

Donkey Kong Jungle Beat - NTSC - SVN 141 - X86

There is no drum pad plugin so this game cannot continue.
