resident evil remake performs very well on x64 build - but there is still a problem with the character graphics (streched in all directions). the openGL plugin makes the characters invisible but is very fast (fullspeed). in the first cutscene (where the zombie eats up thoos guy) the directx plugin slows down massive (1-2 fps) and the opengl plugin renders @ fullspeed.

plz fix that "stretched" problem (the x86 displays the characters fine but is much slower)

In the 64-bit to fix that problem with Resident Evil Remake, which is more of just a temporary solution until they fix it is to open the dolphin.ini in a text editor by double clicking the ini or opening it in notepad.

Then you change the line OptimizeQuantizers = False

That should fix the problem with the funky looking characters in Remake under the 64-bit build.

I posted the x64 build of Dolphin in the link in my sig, just download and extract to a folder of your choice.

However you need a 64-bit operating system and 64-bit capable processor to use it.

As mentioned I will be compiling another revision in a bit, however expect the fixes to be Linux/Mac only with nothing improved in the Windows build.

Is it just me or do these new revisions seem a bit faster now than before?

It'll be a bit before I can compile and post any new revisions. I am unable to compile because of a missing file. Sorry about that.

I'll get back on topic now:

I am a bit surprised, Mario Party 4 actually works with sound. How many first party Nintendo titles actually have sound?

Mario Party 6 and 7 work well with sound and are playable. Something about these games all seem to have something in common and all run well with sound.

The problem with some games that get stuck on loading... can be bypassed by opening another rom with de Dx plugin first and then stopping the emulation.

IE In order to Run pokemon XD you have to boot = Mario Golf TT/Shadow the Hedgehog
i think it's related to the registers positions when booting a game is different to the position when you stop the emulation (almost as if it doesn't reset) as a side note by exploiting the above method i've been able to get -2347532784327 mhz on the window (O_O)

Just wanted to add something to the trick above described... It only works if your using Dual core = True

Can anyone tell me the difference, if any, in using a regular bios rather than the HLE bios emulation?

Are there performance/stability differences?

Revision 119 is up, compiling and uploading 120 right now.

Don't expect any changes for the Windows build as most of the fixes have been Linux/Mac related.

Yeah, I hear you. I just compiled these last two builds and uploaded them, I won't be compiling again until there are fixes/improvements on the Windows build.

Rev. 120 is up, but it's the same story as before - Linux/Mac fixes and no Windows fixes/improvements.

OK, I tryed Naruto Gekitou Ninja Taisen 4 on Dolphine 1.03 and on a SVN r95. On the SVN it does run quite faster I must say. But what troubles me is the sound. In 1.03 I use Dolphin DSP-HLE Plugin (DSound) and it's fine but for some reason I can't use it in the SVN! Why? When I try I get the following errors:
- Did not find function DllDebugger in library Plugins\DSPPlugin.dll
- Did not find function DSP_ReadMailBoxHigh library Plugins\DSPPlugin.dll
- Did not find function DSP_ReadMailBoxLow library Plugins\DSPPlugin.dll
- Did not find function DSP_WriteMailBoxHigh library Plugins\DSPPlugin.dll
- Did not find function DSP_WriteMailBoxLow library Plugins\DSPPlugin.dll
- Did not find function DSP_ReadControlRegister library Plugins\DSPPlugin.dll
- Did not find function DSP_WriteControlRegister library Plugins\DSPPlugin.dll
- Did not find function DSP_SendAIBuffer library Plugins\DSPPlugin.dll
- Failed to load DSP plugin plugins\DSPPlugin.dll
- Couldn't init the core. Check your configuration.

I really want to use this plugin since it has Sound Effects and music while with the Dolphin DSP-NULL Plugin there's only music. Any idea what can I do? Or is there anything I can do at all because I'm starting to think that Dolphin DSP-HLE Plugin (DSound) is incompatible with the SVN r95.
Oh, and I'm with Windows XP.
-----------------
edit: Now I downloaded the plugin(DSP HLE plugin for 32-bit OS's) from ngemu.com The Error messages are different. When I start the game it says:
- Did not find function DllDebugger in library Plugins\DSPPlugin.dll
And... wait a minute! ...ohhh... it... Now sometimes it runs and sometimes it doesn't!? What is going on here!?!
OK, never mind! I think it's fixed now...i think.
