For all of the people having the 1gb problem. If you're using XP try adding the /3GB option in the boot.ini file, and restart. IE:

if you have something like that in your boot.ini

[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Micro soft Windows XP Professional" /NOEXECUTE=OPTIN /FASTDETECT /USEPMTIMER

make it:

[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Micro soft Windows XP Professional" /NOEXECUTE=OPTIN /FASTDETECT /USEPMTIMER /3GB

As Microsoft says: Using the /3GB switch allocates 1 GB to the kernel and 3 GB to the User-mode space. So dolphin will get more RAM to use. I should note that I have tested using the switch, but you must use the option with care as it might get your windows unstable or cause some programs not to work. Also - I NOTE that i HAVE NOT tried it with dolphin as I do not have the 1gb problem (I'm using 2gb of ram).

About the Kaspersky antivirus - I saw that 2 users have it and have the 1gb problem. Borat - you can't just remove it from the autorun, or close its GUI service - As you might know antivirus systems install low level drivers (for various of reasons). Try uninstalling that completely.

Hope some of that works.

I've tried Pikmin on my laptop with the GMA945. But this one won't start at all. It gives 2 errors (see pic1). Pokemon Colosseum does start, but doesn't go further than the Pokemon Company logo (see pic2).

Is this because of the games that i'm testing?

Using R72 32bit
Dx9 Plugin

DC enable/disable (doesn't matter)

My specs of my laptop are:

Intel Core 2 Duo T5500
2048MB DDR2 667
Intel GMA945 Onboard Graphics

In Luigi's Mansion you can avoid the crash by pressing the A-Button. Thus, the intro will be just skipped.

There was an easy fix I found for this back with the extremely old Dolphin versions years ago... It might still work. Look for an app called gc-tool and open up your Pokemon GCM. Look for a folder called "Movie" and rename it to something like "MovBA". Save your changes and load the game up again.

Thanks Daco, your VS2008 x86 build works perfectly, no menu or plugin errors.
