I have noticed a couple of problems in the builds I`ve tested(these are the only ones i have): in Wind Waker: in revisions: 28, 33, 36, 37 of the x64 build when I throw a jar on the island where you need to get the sail for the boat, the emu always hangs in the middle of the throw. in x86 builds: 21, 28, 37 there is no such problem. also in all of the mentioned x64 builds the ogl plugin: does not do fullscreen mode, renders no shadows of characters, doesn`t do anti-aliasing(or at least doesn`t appear to) in x86 builds the difference is that characters have shadows, but still no AA or fullscreen. the dx9 plugin doesn`t render shadows and also has some errors in the rendering of treasure chests and the King of Red Lions`s part below the head. ![]() in the Forbidden Fortress if I push d-pad up to see the map, the screen goes out of focus(like when going into the menus) and the emu hangs. also crashes (both random and repeatable) occur less often in x86 versions. as repeatable, I mean ie. when entering a different room although there are not constantly there. as random i mean those that occur and I didn`t notice any special reason for them. I hope this helps somewhat in the developement I would also like to thank everyone who contributes to the project

It is best for you to report at dolphin-emu - Google Code And write what svn version and what errors so they can take a look at it. Also post pics if you want. They have an attachments too.

How do you past when you help the bird girl "melody" to go to the dragon cavern? Because the emulator always hang when i enter to the area where melody is after i give the letter to the child "staff" . If i use item hang patch , i can't go to this room but if i don't use it , i can go . BUT "melody" give you the bottle and if you don't have the patch you can't pass the item bug. Any REV have the same problem for me. |

I`ve tested the latest r39 x64 build and the problems now gone are: freezing while throwing jars on island 3 freezing while entering the building on the hill near beginning of island 3 now i`ve noticed that when trying to view the map there are about 30 errors occuring and the game slowly starts to show the map in between the errors until about halfway the emu freezes. ![]() ![]() and the ogl plugin renders the shadows now in x64 |

Quick question in regards to the Wii games, no support is far from optimal on it. But have seen several get to the menus and such judging by the screens. All I get when trying to launch them though is a message stating the code isn't marked as executable, likely a JIT bug. The dumps are the correct filesize and the key is in place. Am I doing something wrong or is it just the games I'm trying? (Zelda TP and Super Mario Galaxy). |

Delete one of them and you should get your shadows back. |

hmmm I thought 0x80295654 was the telescope fix as its related to sound. Might be what causes the crash also because its trying to play a sound effect when throwing the jar. But yeah, dont use patches you dont need and you should be good

I have some problems with both GPU plugins since Rev. 26, but I don't know if its my problem alone. I'll try to explain: The OpenGL plugin shows only a quarter of the screen in windowed mode (the window size is fixed and I can't change it), and in fullscreen I can hear the windows' error sound when I press any key on keyboard and it's annoying. The DirectX9 plugin works fine in windowed mode, but in fullscreen the top of the screen flickers a lot showing the buttons of a window. Is it normal or it only happens on my PC?

I have a question: do the options in the dolphin.ini file actually do something?? I mean... I tried to change Dynarec, Multicore, ecc... but the emu has the exact same performance no matter how I set them. Is this normal? @RyuRanx: for the first problem, I had that too, seems to have something to do with the "flipper.ini", try to open it and change the "fullscreen" option to false, it worked for me. |
