The Resident Evil games are getting worse than ever on the new revisions of Dolphin!

Does anyone here use Dolphin on Linux? Could you tell me how you got it to work? This error is really ticking me off. I can't use Wine and the Windows one because of the Pad and Wiimote Plugins that require DX9. And this one always gives me that damned error, and by using "cd ..." on the command prompt to try to run it from there it even says that the directory doesn't exist!

I'm sure there is a way to solve this. Please tell me. I'm dying to play my games on Linux, because other emulators that I've tried, using Wine or not, have run fairly faster than they did on Windows, so I want to see how Dolphin behaves here as well.

Thanks in advance,
~Why-Fi

Why-Fi: I suggest you ask in the Dolphin SVN compiling discussion since nobody here seems to know anything about it.

Anyone who uses my builds: I'm going to compile from now on with the revisions in r4517 reverted (unless it is reverted in the SVN later on). This was a completely pointless change which removed a functionality I like to use. I've not changed compatibility with any games so there will not be any problems that aren't present in unmodified builds.

I've got a question about the Wiimote plugin. How do you disable the second player ? I can't play with my keyboard because it's controlling 2 players in Brawl. You know what I mean ? The arrow keys are controlling both players and I can't choose characters ore adjust the rules so how do you do it that there is only 1 player ?

This is not an error, it is just the GUI checking if you have the wii system menu files installed, because if you do, it will display a menuitem in order to let you boot the system menu.
So, just ignore it.

The problem is, it won't load after this. The command prompt just resets (another line asking for commands appears).

Revision 4526 has now been uploaded, link is in my signature. I have updated my signature since the downloads have moved to a different location on the site.

So I had my XP hard drive click-of-death die on me. So I'm stuck with my Windows 7 install until I think what to do next. The good news: I can probably still build things but I'll need to get all set up. Also this ought to give me some needed exposure to Win7 after using XP almost nonstop.

Just wanted to confirm the issue. I've been away from new Dolphin builds for a while.

OMG I just downloaded latest revision, and Wind Waker menu looks bright and clear and awesome! I can clearly see the clouds in the back! Could never see that before. It's like totally clear now. Though the weird new issue no-one said anything about (I think) is still there - zoomed up characters, including link, are blurry as hell. :/ I should make an issue out of it, if it doesn't get fixed soon...
