Why not just buy one really good gfx card? I never understand people's fascination with stringing together a bunch of ok ish cards.

Maybe, but I would rather have a GTS 260 than two GTS 250. Because I like to change graphics card alot.

Not a chance. It is, at best, equal to 1 GTX 260 and thats if the full capabilities of the second card in sli are used (which it isnt).

Mine is a core 216 btw. I should probably put that in my sig.

o.O

seems that you have no plan what you're talkin about .....

It's easier for me to work with 4 or 6 Displays when doing 3D Stuff (Visualisations and such things)

No one has to be a nerd to know that it's much more productivy to use more displays

I don't use my PC only for Gaming ......

Even my 9800GT runs Dolphin with ease. Is Dolphin that GPU dependant? Why do you have to buy expensive VGAs for it?

Well I asked for a GTX 260 to get my retail games to run such as Crysis, Bioshock, Assassin's Creed, Gears of War, etc.

I'm just wondering if it'll make Dolphin better.

maybe, but then you have Microstutter which is the worst problem you can get with SLI if you don't know how to configure your games / system to work around it.

Hmm, music looping seems to be fixed in Mario Galaxy.

I played the entire first level without the music cutting out or stopping once, even had the boss music.

Before the music would cut out after a minute or two, but now it played through the entire level.

The developers might want to track down what commit may of fixed this if it wasn't acknowledged yet.

I'm using Revision 3929 x64 with my NTSC copy of Super Mario Galaxy..

:Edit: Strange, the first time I was able to play through the entire level without the music cutting out, once I restarted Dolphin and tried the same level again the music cut out.

When the music stops or cuts out it seems to be due to a sound event or unimplemented opcode that breaks the music from playing when these sound events are triggered.

I noticed that the music cuts out in the first level if you go down the orange pipe and play the notes to get a 1up, there is likely other sound events that trigger this as well..
