Just suggesting a free option that is 64 bit. My computer has 32 bit vista and 64 bit 7 and it runs faster on 7.

What specification your computer have ?

PS: So it will run faster on Vista x64, Win7 x64 or it will be the same speed ? also one question more, Compared Win7 and Vista (booth x64) to WinXP x64 in which will it run faster ?

Depends on your PC specs. If it's faster it will work faster everywhere. If slower - slower. Logic

when you go on a higher res with AA you get a black screen. it happend to me in xp but when i tried in vista it worked. idk why its happening tho.

Make sure you're not forcing AA in your GPU control panel.

Dax, that did get it working without a black screen. Thanks.

However, now I'm faced with a display where the image keeps shaking constantly for any game.

I'd prefer if the plugin let me keep AA on in my GPU control panel. It works great with some emus. I'm using 2638 xp32.

That being said, Dolphin with AA on at high resolution looks amazing. Reminds me of NullDC with AA on (in the ini file).

World map in Tales of Symphonia is a black screen when AA is enabled. Tested with 2645.

I have a Intel Core2 at 2.4
3 gb of ram
Geforce 8400m gs

From what I can tell 64 bit is always faster than 32, XP is faster than Vista and 7 and Vista and 7 are about the same. For pure performance XP 64 bit *should* be the fastest.

no windows is for free - u can use 7 beta until aug. 2009 (max)

PS: Here is some other errors when i downloaded x64 Dolphin SVN build 2630 [NEW] from http://www.dolphin-emu.com/downloads.php?cat_id=4
I turned on IL version (or should i say DolphinWx.exe file) and this random errors pooped on startup:

2648 (IL) is round about 5-6 fps slower than 2642 (mgs, resident evil remake etc...)

btw - how can i get AR to work? i've edited the config file and set + for activating the cheats - but nothing happens... the AR log doesn't show any output and the cheats haven't any effect (correct codes)...
