Some games run slightly faster with IL but some slower. You can try different games and see changes.

damn compiled 2506 and the IL build is still broken, anyone managed to find a fix for this?

Why did IL version broken? It just fine with 2 version.

well i've had this crashing bug with IL version from well about 50 revs, each time i load any game, the emulator crashes, while it works just fine with the normal build...

wow that's weird i just downloaded IL version compiled by you and it doesn't crash o.o do you add some special settings in Visual Studio? Weird o.o no idea why IL version compiled on my machine just crashes all the time i load a game... when i build the regular jit, it's fine...

I've tested builds of my own, satanic666 builds and dax's builds, their's seem broken in many ways, satanic's builds dont render anything when using OGL, and Dax's IL builds are broken. The same happens to some of my builds, somehow the compiler ****s up without giving errors.

Nyleveia's builds are flawless always, i stick to those when my builds fail.

I don't change the source unless it's necessary to compile[Soap, I'm looking at you], so I dunno why my builds would have problems.

satanic666's 2506 OGL plugin doesn't work, gives pixel and vertex shader error and doesn't render.

Dax's 2498 IL build crashes after a creatig pixel shader error and your non IL is the same as satanic666's, pixel and vertex shader error and then no rendering on OGL plugin.

This is most likely to the recend library changes regarding cg.

Nyleveia's 2506 IL build crashes on every game.

So what i do is take satanic666's IL build and put it with Nyleveia's release and voila, perfect.

That's when my own doesn't work.

The CG libs provided on the SVN seem to be broken (at least for the x86 part), Nyleveia's builds are probably using older CG libs (2.0.0.16 or something) that's why it works.
i'd suggest you to downgrade to 2.0.x in the meantime

Also, Could you tell us what you did to the IL build to fix the crash-boot please?

In the games I tried it, IL version was only faster, never slower.
F.e. in the animated areas of RE1/0 the difference was up to 1.5-2 times (!). 13fps vs. 21fps in the graveyard f.e. (2195 wx vs. 2195 wxIL). It's hardly playable with 2195wx, and fully playable on 2195wxIL, with my CPU at least. I wouldn't say that's just slightly faster.

Pity that all newer IL builds after 2176 I tried (downloaded from official site, daco, nightly builds) don't work for me (as described above). I can't believe they still haven't fixed it, as lots of people have this problem. BTW, it's not a problem of ATI vs. nVidia, newer ILs don't work on both ATI and nVidia cards.

wow, every single time i compile IL version, it just crashes when i load any game... i even tried to compile it with the ICC... same lmao
