Uploading 2498, without Soap. I'll start including Soap again once it has the build errors fixed. I'm kinda tired of putting in hacky fixes, which might make it more unstable.

Try to isntall this - GeForce Release 182 And keep them updated to avoid issues like this.

As I mentioned this has happened on any forceware version including the latest WHQL release...

Do you have an NVidia card as well? I'm having no issue.

Btw, Megaman 9 no longer has flickering glitches in 2498 if you enable Real XFB in OGL.

If you are using the DirectX plugin, read the recent commit logs on the SVN, the DirectX plugin is currently broken since they are working on it. It's likely they are working on the array of issues with the DirectX video plugin to bring it up to par with the OGL plugin.

DirectX plugin needs a lot of work before it is up to the same level as the OGL plugin..

Avoid updating the DirectX plugin until this is resolved..

Might be some GPU issue, some broken pipeline... no one can tell youif it`s that. Borrow another 9800 GT and test it with it. If it happens again it`s some weird 9800GT <-> OS issue if not it`s HW crash.

Hold on. You guys have been using the DX9 plugin? That's why. It was broken as of 2484. I included an older DLL, I think. Pretty sure I did..

I'm using the OGL plugin, I was just responding to the other guy who was apparently using the DirectX plugin even though the recent svn commit log informs that it is now currently broken while they (The developers) are working on it.

I only use OGL... for some reason in my DX9 plugin all games are with graphical glitches. Well most of games - Resident Evils for ex.

I haven`t tested it. The last time I used it was on some 18xx REV.

Grab my 2498 build; it has the 2483 DX9 plugin in it, if I remember correctly. DX9 has come a long way, in my opinion. Plays Pokemon Colosseum, PSO 1/2/3, certain areas of TP quite decently. I'm looking at some of my other games now to see how they do under DX9.

Games running decently:

PSO 1/2, average FPS, 15-30
PSO 3, average FPS, 15-25
WindWaker: tested beginning island, 20-30 FPS
Pokemon Colosseum: minor glitches, 15-30 FPS
TwilightPrincess: certain areas are pitch black, some are fine, low FPS

Games not running so well:

Metroid Prime 1, nearly perfect intro graphics, hangs at "Unidentified distess beacon" text once it finishes
Metroid Prime 2, hangs after the Nintendo logo

Also, antialiasing works as well, so you can enhance the graphics. My tests here were without AA and 640x480 resolution.

Today I downloaded Rev. 2498. With OpenGL plugin, it shows "Failed to create Pixel Shaders" and "Failed to create Vertex Shaders". Direct3D works fine, but OpenGL (it's the plugin that I use frequently), since that revision this plugin it's now useless for me...

What's the reason of this error?
