True that. But other games work fine even with sound and stuff, that's enough for now . Just go on as ever!

Why not to take some codes or anything else from MusicMod (if it's not hard )?

I have problems with the OpenGL plugin. It works fine, but it is a bit buggy, I've outlined the issues I'm experiencing with it below:

1. The OpenGL plugin will not start any game unless dual core is enabled, if I try to start a game with dual core disabled, I'll get the error shown below and then the emulator will crash.

2. It is impossible to start a game, stop it, and then start another game without first closing the emulator. If you try to stop a game and start another game, I'll also get that error shown below and the emulator will crash.

Other notes:

This problem seems to be isolated to Nvidia cards, or at least certain a model/series of Nvidia cards. I have this problem on my MSI Geforce 9800 GT. This issue does not seem to occur with any ATI cards, as I observed when testing on my laptop.

I've tried different forceware versions which all yield the same results/problems. Also extension limit is disabled in the Nvidia control panel, this is one of the first things I checked.

Thread/discussion on this specific problem with the OGL plugin @ Emutalk:

OpenGL Problems - EmuTalk.net

This issue has been confirmed by other users with Nvidia cards as well, but this issue hasn't been resolved because some aren't experiencing this and the issue hasn't been linked to dolphin. I am attempting to explain that this is indeed an issue with Dolphin and some Nvidia cards so this can be fixed sometime in the near future.

I'm on x64 too, with no issue, so I don't think it's that, nosound.

Everything is installed, latest DirectX, Visual C++ Redistributable. I am by no means a tech idiot, I usually keep everything updated, and steer clear of anything that would cause problems.

As I mentioned, there are others who have this problem as well, so it isn't just me or anything wrong with my PC and configuration.

Perhaps Dolphin doesn't like some Nvidia cards, mine happens to be one of them. I don't have any problems with this card in any games, and it performs quite well with any OpenGL based game or other emulators which use OpenGL to render.

I know it makes no sense - install PhysiX Just get some new game and it will install automatically or get it from nVidia site. I have it installed.

No, this system is essentially a brand new Core2Duo E8500 PC, 4 GB of DDR2 ram, Geforce 9800 GT.

I haven't had any problems with this PC, and it handles nearly everything I throw at it flawlessly including PCSX2 with some minor normal slowdowns here and there..
