Could have guessed that, but I'd rather wait till it gets solved the right way ^^
Thanks anyway, CU

Virtual Console games? As far as I know, no.

I'd rather see DLC/the ability to install WADs to a fake Wii NAND work first. Then we'd have the complete MM9 experience.

Then we need to load Wii games through Homebrew Channel :P DLC is not necessary I think. It's better to load WADs straight but properly

Why would we need the HBC emulated? You can install WADs without it.

We could use WadManager to install the DLC and then just load the other WAD. No need for HBC since we can run any code already.

Lol, I haven't seen WAD files since the days of Doom and Half-Life. I don't know much about the Wii's filesystem, but please tell me there's a difference.

WADs are often WiiWare & VC games. Not usual Wii games.

Nintendo uses their own format for WADs.

WAD files - WiiBrew if you care for technical stuff.

This is my first time using Dolphin. Does anybody know why the sound for Wind Waker isn't working? I know it's an old game but I really want to play it.

Sound is shoddy at best in most games. Try to find a build of MusicMod perhaps. Otherwise, WW has no sound.

Sorry, for some reason despite a good couple of years of development sound is still not implemented in the most crucial games. You'll learn to do without when you see it at 1280+ resolution on your monitor at full speed.

Sad (?) offtopic

Good one! ^^
Yeah, one gets used to the fact that the mighty Devs are focusing on other things... But at least they do since the Open Source release! ^^

First we should get proper emulation of game at least without sound, then implementing sound support.

PS: CU??

You're absolutely right with that, nothing to say against!
CU

PS: Yeah, you might have noticed, that I place a "cu" at the end of every post. So it's not meant literally, only as an ending phrase

Hey, if getting sound in Zelda/Mario was easy, we'd have done it ages ago :P
