Just a lil question: Are 3 gigs of ram necesdsary to run this emulator? I'm asking because I recently tried pcsx2 too, which used to work on this machine.... but now when i run a game it crashes. Could this be caused by my low specs?

Intel Pentium D Dual core 2x2,8ghz
1Gb of RAM
Ati radeon x1300 0HyperMemory 512MB

Question for the Dev Team:

What are your current goals of Dolphin right now? Is it to get Wii emulation decent? Is it to get the Gamecube emulation perfect? Is it something completely different? All these new revisions confuse me as to what your all working on.

Well, to be honest, I would be *slightly* disappointed if they focused more on getting Wii emulation working than getting Gamecube emulation perfected... After all, this project did get started as a Gamecube emulator obviously and is still the best one.

Wx is short for WxWidgets. It is a cross-platform GUI API.

i agree, i played my friends wii for 30 mins with a few games, the gimmick controller gets BORING real fast, no good exclusive games{pokemon and smash bros are for 10 year olds} and mario sucks in 3d

Id much rather see REmake/zero perfect and sound/music in zeldas

But any progress is good

Corrected, the sonic games suck and have always sucked in 3d compared to the glorious Genesis days. Mario is nowhere as bad as the 3d Sonic games, and definitely a leap and bound better than the newer Sonic games for Xbox360, PS3 and Wii..

There is one thing I actually congratulate Nintendo on is actually doing a Mario game in 3d the way it should be done, Mario 64 was fun and still is fun, Galaxy is very fun to play as well.

However the weakest 3d Mario game is Sunshine and gets very boring, painstaking, and tedious to try and play.

Mario in 3d > Sonic in 3d

Sonic in 3d = FAIL..

Well, that's not exactly what I meant... I own a Wii, and as much as I love to see Wii emulation getting a head start over PS2, Xbox, PS3, and 360, I would rather see my favorite system from last generation perfected first, just a small worry.

Also, Wii is still fun, just no good games released in the US in late 2008.
