If you read my posts and threads and saw my pics you would know it is working with save since rev 1322.

BTW: Is sound fixed now? I can't test it on newer revs because I'm afraid to lose my save, which is already on chapter 9.

I got revision 1546 to compile just fine on Fedora 10 x86-64, but according to my oglgfx log, I need "GL_EXT_framebufer_object". I decided to download ATI's drivers even though there was a chance it could mess everything up -- and sure enough, it did. OpenGL used to work for desktop effects at least, but now OpenGL support is completely nonexistent. I tried a workaround... didn't help, and now all the fonts are tiny. Fun.

So, I'm going to try and revert back to the way things initially were. Is there any way I can add support for the GL_EXT_framebuffer_object without completely updating drivers?

Oh yeah, I have an integrated ATI Radeon Xpress 200 -- don't judge! Half-Life 2 is actually playable with it. It doesn't like the HDR rendering, but it's fine otherwise with low-medium settings and a few high at 800x600. (I don't have a big enough monitor or e-penis to care about high resolutions.)

HL2 is playable because it uses Direct3D, not OpenGL.

I know; I'm just stressing that it's not an absolutely terrible graphics solution. OpenGL does also work just fine in Windows, and like I mentioned it used to be working at least in part in Fedora. I just need to figure out how I can get GL_EXT_framebuffer_object working.

I posted about a week back I think that the "title movie" plays with perfect music and everything, then hangs if it ends or you press start. I guess it broke in later revisions?

I've got to figure out a way to link members to my site/downloads whenever I compile a new revision, I'm not allowed to post a link in my signature anymore...

If any of you are interested on the reasoning behind this, PM me and I'll let you know why...

I would just like to add I am in the process of getting this worked out, once I do I'll add the link back to my signature..

For now, information on where to obtain builds from me should be listed in one of the stickies, earlier in this thread, and a couple other threads as well.

There no need to send any more PM's regarding this..

It is because it runs a THP video after title screen.

this is a very little sugestion, but i think that an option could be added to the "rom folders" tab, named "Search also subdirectories" or something like that (project64 does it). itīs useful when you keep your roms organized by folders, and if you change them, you don't have to go editing the ini or the options in dolphin.
anyway, hope you find it useful.

Until that is done, my links will remain. I'll likely be waiting quite a while to hear any sort of approval/disapproval.

There was no problem with me having these links in my signature prior to a couple days ago, I originally had permission to place links to my personal website in my signature as it was deemed appropriate to place the link in my signature as long as it was kept off of the forum topics and posts themselves..
I approve.

I dunno if anyone else did, but I just finished Metroid Prime start to finish, 100% so there don't seem to be any major functionality glitches. Just a couple of little anomalies.

EDIT: Except for that last save, it crashes the emu

I've got revision 1557 up, revision 1558 is just a small fix so I didn't bother with it as I was already in the process of uploading revision 1557.

Maybe you should double check it before you got new revision up because it is not 1557. I download it and show 1556 instead. :X

It is revision 1557, it doesn't say revision 1557 because all it was, was a small wiki edit so it displays the previous revision number instead..
