I'm really having troubles with dual core all around on the latest revisions. Quite a few games won't load with it.

It didn't appear before with the older revisions. I'm using Daco's build r1058.

Any solutions? Or should I just wait for the bug to be fixed?
Quote myself...

This issue still exist in r1067. Weird, what can it be?

Stupid bug, I just tested r1048, and I didn't got the panicmessages.

Which games? I'm interested and we need an updated broken games list with DualCore (but SingleCore ok).

I don't have much time to test but for me with 32b:
MP1, MP2 are ok (well as "good" as with SC mode ) but they're a bit hacked atm.
ZWW, Mario kart, Mario sunchine seem to be ok too.
ZTP hangs just after logos <- this bug is under investigation (pretty complex btw)

It would be helpful to add the rev used and where/when the game breaks too.

could be reported there as well:
Issue 225 - dolphin-emu - Google Code

Well from 1058 onwards I can't get any of them to load on dualcore to be honest. I can check in more detail later.

Well, I don't think I need to explain anything, as everything like information and revisionnumber is in those printscreens. But, the game I tested is Paper Mario: The thousand year door... And Dual Core + Idle Skipping is on.

All these messages appears in the same scene. Hope this helps, as you wanted some information memberTwo. xD Uh oh, it's in the beginning of the game, when Mario check out the map.

Ok good.
Idle skipping shouldn't be used with DC atm because DC is still in WIP.
Anyway, test accepted since this game doesn't skip idle loop (see "0 idle skipped")

Ah, cool. Turning of Idle Skipping really helps the emulation with Dual Core enabled. Thanks for the information.

EDIT: What the heck, I can still getting further in-game when getting rid of those messages. But, I'll wait for your next DC fixing part to make sure the game won't crash later on, if you're going to mess with it of course.

Maybe i didn't give you a solution to your problem, but at least you know why it happens

Good luck and i love that game =) (Sadly i don't have it anymore...)
I know its in development, but didn't know if anyone else was having this frame drop issue. It just made the battles really slow, I suspect it's alot more than 5 frames, but eh whatever.

Ohh you say maybe it's a fps counter problem? when i first read your post i thought. "Mmm well a 5 fps loss it's not really a big deal", but if you say it feels like a lot more, then maybe it's core related. Sadly i don't have that game so i can't see if it's the same on my rig... Have you tried switching to an old revision?? Maybe it's caused by the later revisions only

how to control wii games?

a little question:
can you control wii games with a real wiimote via bluetooth or can you emulate the wiimote with the mouse?

ATM you can use the mouse only and IIRC masken was thinking on using the keyboard for the Z axis. I think in the near future if all goes well, we'll be seeing some Bluetooth + wiimote emulation (also looking forward to it)

I can check it out soon. But I don't think it is playable at this time. It's something to do with a bug in their DVD drive emulation.

And a suggestion. This would be great if someone could implement two other buttons with the Wii mote, I'm thinking about this specifik buttons, buttons 1 and 2 on the Wiimote. You can emulate those buttons using sidebuttons on your mouse (if you have it).

This can maybe help Super Paper Mario and Wario Land, I think, get in-game.

EDIT: Yep, confirmed. This bug is still not fixed yet (in Super Smash Bros. Brawl). Give them time to figuring it out. But I don't think that this game is in their priority list either.

I beg to differ. The current projection kill Skies of Arcadia Legends menus and dialogue where in before R945, those were rendered fine.

I'm really sorry for misunderstanding. It was just a user failure, or another some sort of failure. Cause, I grabbed a revision before r1048, and merged/replaced everything in the Wii subdirectory from r1048 to r1067. This method actually works. And you have the right sysconfig file and some other sludge in it.

I was able to discover some parts in Mario Party 8, which is awesome, in r1067. Go ahead guys, try it out, and tell me if it works for you. The only panicmessage that appears is something about "Couldn't create directory: 3", or something, and some others warnings about the game (ucodes and so on). Not sure. But it works, that's the point.

EDIT: And also, you will not be able to reach the gameboards in Mario Party 8. It ends up with a TLB error, or some other sort of bug. So, you can't play, but you can discover some area in the game. And try out the wiimote emulation.

Yes, I've tried it with R1067. Ever since R945, menus and dialogue are broken, I was the one who asked for a pre-945 projection hack.

Dialogs are also broken in Tales of Symphonia in R1067. I was using the pre-945 projection hack in R1062 as well. Now there's no way to really play it on Dolphin.

PS: Not to mention there is some really weird text glitch in ToS. Letters are randomly flickering to other letters and sometimes are not displayed.
