ector Why does the opengl video plugin give me low fps like 9 to 12 and has model texture layout issues. Plus i still get no sound with null DSP.

Are you running on an x64 platform and do you have the x64 includes/libs setup in your Visual Studio?

You need Visual Studio in order to compile this, express editions won't be able to compile this properly since it is missing libraries/features and the express editions will not be able to compile 64-bit applications as the ability to do so is missing from Visual C# and C++ express editions.

Visual Studio (Full and Complete version) is required, no less.

The DSP NULL plugin is just a dummy plugin. It isn't able to produce sound at all. It just "answers" requests of the CPU so the emulation doesn't get stuck. We havn't released the source of the DSP HLE plugin (that is the one that is able to produce sound in some games) but you can download it at dolphin-emu - Google Code. The DSP LLE plugin is not for end-users at all.

ps: If you build your own versions and release them please don't include the DSP LLE plugin. Nobody can use it anyway . Of cause you can included the HLE plugin if you like.

Hmm, I installed Vista x64 especially to try the new builds and they dont want to load... The emulator complains about plugins (pad and dx9) and 'missing library' (but no idea which). And doesn't start

Any ideas? Anyone?

Yeah, why not building them all but as FiRES says dont include the DPS LLE plugin, ok ? It will be great to share.

By the way, emutalk is still down.

Have you selected the plugins to use? Got the latest version of DirectX installed?

Not entirely true, it does do the "simple disc streaming" type of audio

Of course I did. When I start the emulator, it complains "I can't load plugin..." and then I can't select them in preferences panel (but if I choose another ones, still says "missing library... cannot initialize core").

As I said, this is completely fresh install of VIsta 64.

P.s Emutalk isent down it's huge busy there was 187 in the dolphin theads befor.

Hey ho. Which IDE do you use? I've Visual Studio 2008 Pro and I've had the same problem.
What you have to do is installing the x64 compiler (Running the Visual Studio setup again and then select "Custom" (i believe that's the right english word for "benutzerdefiniert"). Once there, you can select on the left side the x86-, x64- and the Itanium-Compiler. Select x64 and install it, so it's added to your actual vs installation.
Have fun!

Edit:
Ok, here the exactly way:
- Run setup.exe (or autorun.exe)
- Select Change or uninstall Visual Studio 2008
- Click Next
- Select "Add or remove features"
- On the left side it should look like this: click
- Then press "Refresh" (Aktualisieren).
