I'm finding 233 to be slower than 223 for SMS. And I don't have the sound working like some of you reported.

There's a movie at the beginning of Zelda: WW that now has sound.
Leave the intro to run through twice (you can press start to skip the story after the first run of the intro).
After the second time the intro runs through you get a video of the gameplay and the sound and music now plays on this.

The one in Zelda: TP plays after the intro runs through once and the Mario Golf one plays as soon as you load the game.

Oh ya thanks neoslider.

Ok nix that about SMS playing slower. it's just the same. I think what it is, is it has a hard time rendering the sludge. So whenever there is sludge on screen it slows down to like 10fps, but when it's clean it goes up to 15-16fps and indoors 22-23fps. I've been comparing all revisions together with two save states, one with all 120 shines, and the other with only three, and there is a big speed difference between the two. Plus I've been noticing that it doesn't always render the sludge so Mario keeps getting hit when you can't see what's there.

Save states can be important for testing, so that you can keep trying certain areas where a game would crash or have a glitch- by being able to change the settings and load right back to that part of the game. And also saving doesn't work right in this one japanese game that I play, it can never load the save- so save states can be needed for conditions like that as well. And I think that that person was talking about a normal save file, not a save state.

Hey guys, I just saw that they have now added a new memcard manager to to the dolphin executable, gee I wonder what that is(kidding).

Hehehe, that's funny, but not true with me. in Zelda: WW, I get 18~25 fps inside closed areas(like small houses), but outside areas I get only 8~11 fps(which is a very slight improvement from before). Can you please name the person who you saw with those speeds please, 'cause it's not funny to exaggerate those things.

In WindWaker, I'm usually getting about 30FPS or higher the entire way through... It's really not that impossible to get higher speeds. Your problem is that you have a single core Athlon 64... which is just a "little" outdated. Whereas I have a Core 2 Duo E6750 overclocked to 3.20GHz. Not only do I run the x64 version, but I have dual-core enabled. It makes quite a bit of a difference :P

SSBM is basically fully playable except the sound issue. And it also lags when playing with 4 characters.

Yes, you make a good point there, but until I can actually upgrade to anything better, my argument stands around the basis of the graphics card, not the processor.

Edit:I just checked omegadox's skydrive and I saw that he compiled and uploaded Rev 235, so I'm just letting everyone know that he has it.
Edit#2: If anyone is having plugin problems with omegadox's revisions, try Daco's instead.

Well... as far as I know... Dolphin isn't really intensively using the video card at this time. So I don't see any reason why the 7300 wouldn't get decent speeds as long as the processor is fast enough.

Yes it's true, I'm getting a plugin error on loading Dolphin as well, but I checked out the memcard manager and it looks pretty good, though I haven't tested it yet. Hopefully it's not another broken revision.
