Wifi uses in the future

I been thinking about this for a while but i don't know if this will ever be done.
Recently i have found out that my old wifi network card has a Ralink chipset (or whatever) and is suitable to be used with the Wireless Mutiboot App to send homebrew and demos straight to the DS via Download play. It's great fun but not that many demos around (quite capturing them from what i know)

Anyways what i thought is if eventually wifi will be implemented (sooner or later, don't misunderstand me i ain't hurrying anyone up ) will it be able to use a ralink wifi card as a mean of communication with a real DS? This would not only mean multiplayer across emulator game <--> real ds game but also would aid in dumping the rest of the demos. Running a wifi kiosk cart in the emulator through the ralink network card and capturing the wifi traffic! Correct me if I'm wrong but i guess it will be possible at some time, eh?
